About Us

Alannah Georgia Turi (more fondly known as Ally) started Heart & Sole Dance Factory as a small business in South Africa during her gap year after finishing her final year of School in 2020.

Ally has a family history in the dance world and her Paternal Grandmother Kay Connett (Turi-Hankinson) was a Professional Ballerina. Kay trained at the Royal Ballet, Covent Garden in the United Kingdom. Kay toured South Africa in her early years as a dancer and decided to stay. She became Principal Ballerina for PACT shortly after.

Ally trained as a dancer with her Grandmother Kays Peers. Diane Finch, Gill Henning and her daughter Daniela Swartz in Benoni South Africa, her hometown.

In 2021 Ally was offered a Dance Scholarship at an American University to be part of their Performing Arts Programme. She accepted the offer and made her way to Missouri towards the end 2021. She returned home a year later in 2022. 

Ally has always loved all aspects of the Theatre and Dance (particularly Ballet). She has immersed herself in Dancing, Choreography, Make-up Artistry as well as the Design, Sewing and Distribution of Dance Related Attire. 

Ally has since immigrated to Italy and has been accepted for the Joffrey Ballet School Intensive in Comacchio, Italy.

While still completing her Degree in Psychology she continues to grow Heart&Sole as a business online.
